The owner had dismissed the CEO as part of a recapitalisation process and wanted an interim Group CEO to handle the group that consisted of 3 companies in the tower build business. It became evident that the previous management had not succeeded in carving out the potential synergies among the 3 companies in the group and the financial results have been deviating from budgets on a regular basis leading to financial challenges and constrained cashflows.
Solution
A transformation plan was defined to professionalize the processes across the companies in search for potential synergies and improved profits. The assessment revealed that a new organisational design was needed as well as onboarding of new competencies to strengthen the performance of the company.
Result
We helped execute the transformation plan and strengthen the overall governance of the companies. Onboarding of new complementary competencies enhanced company performance and reduced risk, which enabled the owners to execute an exit plan.
